The Naval, Air and Space Military Museum of New York “Intrepid” is located on the banks of the Hudson River. This is the only place in the city where you can see famous airplanes, a military submarine, an aircraft carrier of the Second World War and much more. The museum itself is an aircraft carrier called Intrepid (Intrepid) with a Glower submarine moored to Pier 86 on the west side of Manhattan.The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum is one of the largest maritime museums in the United States. It is interesting for both adults and children, since all the equipment here is real. And the Intrepid itself is an exhibit, you can go into it and see what the cabins of the sailors and the captain’s cabin of the ship looked like. The length of the aircraft carrier is 260 meters, the weight, not counting the exhibition on board, is 42 thousand tons.
