Amazing Hotel, we were so impressed. The palace is like a dream and history. It’s like the bathhouse from Miyazaki’s great anime “Spirited Away” It has many nice restaurants, great pool and fitness; and very helpful and kind staff.

I loved this place. It is a bit tricky to get to, but there is a shuttle bus to the mtr (though I wish someone had told me this on check in!). The rooms are spacious and the balconies and views truly stunning. The pool is also the best hotel pool I’ve swum in. A very charming slice of traditional Chinese palatial living!

Beautiful building! Loved the room, view & the pool! Location is awkward to get to bus the shuttle bus makes things easier ! Got the continental breakfast room service and it was shocking – the tiniest bad quality croissants and a choice of fruit OR a juice: very cheap & stingy. Don’t eat at the hotel. Think the place could benefit from a good lobby bar, somewhere to have a drink and listen to the piano – too much space taken up by a cafe & buffet:

We originally booked the no window room. However, it was not up to our liking so we decided to upgrade into a different room. – The hotel itself is grand and sophisticated. We really enjoyed our stay! The staffs are nice ☺️ The service is as good as expected. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Location is just okay. Personally, we took cab whenever we left the hotel. You can choose to walk or take the shuttle bus provided! 🚶♀️View of the city, you can see Taipei101 from afar 👍 – 24/7 Room cleaning service. You just have to call front desk. – They are trying to be sustainable therefore I assume that the amenities would be available upon request. 🌱(toothbrush, razor, & etc.,)

While the location requires an extra step, the hotel shuttles resolve most of it, and taxis are available too at a reasonable price. Staying here is like living in a palace. A truly special experience.

I was staying in the hotel during the 7.2 magnitude earthquake and want to say a few words about the professionalism of the stuff. It was the first earthquake I’ve experienced in my life and honestly I was panicking. Easily found the emergency exit and went down to the reception with a few other guests who f the hotel. The girls working at the reception (unfortunately I don’t know their names) were absolutely calm, smiling and reassuring, recommended to stay in the hall downstairs for a few minutes and it was very comforting and helpful.
