If you are a fan of breathtaking viewpoints and very nice Instagram photos, then this activity is for you. Located at only 30 km from Cluj-Napoca, Cheile Turzii (Turda Gorge) is one of the most beautiful gorges from Romania.
There are 2 alternatives for this tour:
a) the adventurous one, where we climb the via ferrata from the gorge;
b) the easy one, where we hike through a lot of scenic viewpoints above the gorge.
You can specify which option you prefer when you book a tour.
The climbing is very easy (no technical experience required), starting from the river level and making our way up the gorge, passing through a vertical cave called Grota lui Hili. The via ferrata is one way only, and the climbing down will be made on a hiking trail.
Alternatively, if you have fear of heights or you are not a big fan of adrenaline, you can choose the hiking option (b). The views are just as breathtaking.
